Don't tell him he cant...
Pitching has had several innovations over the years. They curveball in the late 1800s, the knuckler in early 1900s, and we're all still waiting for Dice-K to unveil the gyro ball. But none of us could be prepared for last night's debut of the hope-change-hope-mainstreet-wallstreet-bailout-goldenparachute-stimulus-smallgovernment-biggovernment-goodgovernment-wisdomOFaLATINAwoman-ball. It was absolutely un-hitable and required a lean in off the dirt from Poo Holes in order to cross the plate. But seriously what do you guys think about the pitch? The camera angle was awful but I would say it looked better than your average first pitch and still worse than the ringer that W threw.

The pitch itself was above average for making it to the plate. I've always thought that if I threw out a first pitch, I'd err for wild rather than wimpy. But more impressive than the pitch was the presentation. Some people might want Barack to be more impartial, but I like that he wore the White Sox jacket. I enjoyed it much more than the traditional wingtips-and-shirtsleeves presidential first pitch. Although I will say that when Bill Clinton threw out the first pitch at (then) Jacobs Field, he ran it up there pretty good.
