Prince earns mancrush honors once again by blasting past Pooh-Holes and Nelson Cruz to win the homerun derby.
"It's pretty cool to actually win one," Fielder said afterward. "As a kid, you never think you'll win one. You just want to be in one. So [winning the Derby is] kind of like a dream come true, I guess."
Meanwhile Tiger's defensive ace Brandon Inge, who is having an surprising slugging season (21 jacks), managed to satisfy all the dissenters to his nomination to the derby by hitting 0 homeruns and immediately being eliminated.
"It was fun, though. Regardless of what happened -- I didn't care. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I'll ask to do it again...I wanted to hit one. We play a team sport, but personally, this is the biggest stage on earth for a baseball player."
