A Great Day In Cleveland

Eric Mangini, in light of the fact that Brady Quinn's offense has scored one mop-up-fourth-quarter touchdown in three games, has opted to change starters and go with Derek Anderson, whose 62.6 passer rating since last year is the worst in the league. And in other news, the Cleveland Indians have fired manager Eric Wedge, but politely asked him to manage the last six games of the '09 campaign, ostensibly to let him fulfill his dream of losing 99 games in a single season. He'll do it, and he'll do it for pride. Great teams, great athletes, great decision makers. These are the things that make Cleveland the greatest sports town in the world.
