Nothing but love...
Obviously with Rich Rod feeling the heat from recent allegations that Michigan practices too much and his mix up in a real-estate ponzi scheme orchestrated by a banned booster, things haven't been going too great for Michigan football. Which is why Michigan is turning once again to their Lake Erie compatriots for support and understanding. Ohio State captains Kurt Coleman and Doug Worthington as well as head coach Jim Tressel all acknowledged that it takes extra work to compete these days in major college football and admitted the players who want to be great understand that. Coleman noted: "I think Michigan is probably abiding by the rules...but, you know, to be great you have to put in more than 20 hours. That's just the minimum." Worthington commented that no matter what the coaches or the NCAA says players who want to get better will become workaholics, and that the upperclassmen make sure that the younger players kept their noses to the grindstone. Tressel actually said that it's foolish to try to rein in young, committed and ambitious athletes. I think everyone understands the nature of the issue here and understands that this "extra" work is just the way football is these days. Michigan fans and alumni, however, are touched by the empathy their friends from Columbus are showing. Is there no end to the love and support between the Buckeyes and the Wolverines? GO BIG TEN!
"Both teams played hard...goodnight and godbless."
maybe too hard actually

Tressel: "And as for the ponzi scheme, I mean who hasn't screwed the pooch on one of those bad boys, you know what I'm sayin'?"
