Preseason Roundup:

Michael Vick:Looks like early reinstatement for Vick who is now fully eligible to play in the September 27th game against the Chiefs. Vick (who was sacked four times, threw a pick, and fumbled against the Jets) is likely to benefit from more practice before getting into a game.

Matt Stafford: Might be getting a crack at the starting QB position earlier then expected. Drew Stanton has had knee surgery and Dante Culpepper has sliced open his foot while laying some carpet at home (no joke/metaphor....actually what happened). Meanwhile, de facto QB Matt Stafford continued to improve and play well this preseason.

Maurice Jones-Drew: MJD has sustained a leg injury, though the extent is unclear. He was hammered by Fred Smoot and left the game (not without some choice words for Smoot). MRI is pending, though if he is even slightly hampered when they play Indiana you can expect Sanders to go for that leg.

Vince Young: The former Probowler and rookie of the year, showed some of that VY-type skill against the third stringers in week 4 of preseason: thrwoing 7/12 for 85 yds and a TD, and rushing for 38 yds and another score. No INTs no Fumbles. At some point the Titans have to give him a shot...don't they?
