I'm sure you all remember the first WTF moment of this year's NFL draft: with the seventh pick the Oakland Raider select Darius Heyward-Bey. Awesome, the stunned silence on Mel Kiper's oddly shaped face couldn't have said it better. Sure the Raiders needed to shore up the receiving core this summer but to take DHB at 7 with Crabtree and Maclin both on the board? DHB as the top receiver selected overall? And then it hit...DHB? oh yah that guy had the top 40 time at the combine (4.3 s)... and the hilarity/insanity of Al Davis' 1-variable analysis was evident once again. In any case DHB has done his job in minicamp: showed up and dropped three straight passes, immediately after which he pulled his hamstring and has yet to return. Also he still hasn't agreed on the terms of his rookie contract. It must suck ballz to be a Raiders fan. "Both teams played hard...goodnight and godbless."
